The image of Robinson, is invariably treated as the spiritual symbol of human aggressiveness, endless struggle, and bold exploration. Ever since the birth of the image, it has affected generation after generation. Robinson's striving spirit and the deeds of conquering deserted island are passed down and are still considered as a model of human over nature till today. Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" is also adapted by writers or screenwriters around the world. With the growing ecological crisis of nature, human living conditions are facing the threat of natural disasters. To interpret the image of Robinson on the perspective of ecocriticism visual area, we can clearly see the Anthropocentrism Anti-ecological thinking behind the striving spirit. More and more writers began to rewrite the classic image of Robinson from the perspective of ecology, deconstruct the anti-ecological thinking in the text of Daniel Defoe's works, and express their ecological demands respectively.This paper mainly reinterprets classic texts from the perspective of ecocriticism, and excavates hidden anti-ecological thinking in the texts. Meanwhile, combined with the research method of deconstructive criticism and Intertextuality criticism, the paper conducts in-depth analysis on the rewriting intertextuality works of Daniel Defoe's novel against ecological crisis, proclaim the reconstruction of the image of Robinson by writers from different regions, different genders, and different nationalities, and seek out the new developments of the image of Robinson in historical context.This paper consists of five parts. The Introduction part presents the origin and significance of the topic, and teases out study situation of the image of Robinson and "Robinson Crusoe" at home and abroad. The Main Body part is made up of three chapters. The first chapter introduces the construction of the image of Robinson in social and historical context, namely the human hero, representatives of the bourgeoisie, Puritanism believers and empire builders. The second chapter reconsiders the classic text "Robinson Crusoe" from the perspective of ecocriticism, and analyzes the Anti-ecological thinking reflected by the image of Robinson from the aspect of man and ego, man and others, man and nature. Combined with the literary output by Michel Tournier, J-M-Coetzee and Elizabeth Bishop and the movies by George·Miller, the third chapter uses eco-criticism, deconstruction criticism and intertextuality theory to decompose the deconstruction and reconstruction of the image of Robinson against the ecological crisis, and investigates modern writers' ecological thinking about Anthropocentrism represented by the image of Robinson against the worsening ecological crisis. The Conclusion part summarizes the digestion of Anthropocentrism reflected by the image of Robinson from intertextuality works and the construction of harmonious ecological Concept on the perspective of intertextuality and deconstruction criticism.
