Emotional State And The Characterization Of Materials, Sub-components Of The Central Executive Function

The research about Emotion and executive function is the hot topic of cognitive psychology in recent years, and the research about hot executive function and cold executive function is the main direction. Zelazo and Muller divided EF into two different types by its physiological mechanism, one is named'cool', and the other is'hot', which are stimulated by different representations. Cool EF is purely cognitive which is aroused by some abstract and contextual experiences, which is related to dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, DL-PFC; while hot EF is more emotional involved, which is called forth by necessary emotive meaning test tasks on the stimulus.At the same time,through the literature we found that, there is two emotinal stimulite materials in the hot and cool executive function resrearch:emotional words/pictures and emotional videos.But resrearch on the effect of two femotional stimuli are rare compared.Secondly, there are two conclusions pionts of the positive emotions and negative emotions study,emotional negativity bias theory holds that the negative emotional simuli have the advantage cognitive processing,another theory concluded that the ppsitive emotional behavior response faster.The purpose of this research is to explore the different emotional state, characterization of materials on the central executive function.The whole research have three test:(1)videos clips induced emotional state and expriments to suppress task(different emotional stimuli characterize is the test meterial);(2) videos clips induced emotional state and expriments to refresh task(different emotional stimuli characterize is the test meterial); (3) videos clips induced emotional state and expriments to conversion task(different emotional stimuli characterize is the test meterial).The results include:(1)the videos can started emotional states in the test;(2)emotional states affected the central components of executive function measure;(3) different emotional stimuli characterize has an impact on the features tesk;(4) emotional stimuli characterize and emotional state have additive effect on the central executive function;(5)gender is an important factor measure of the central executive function test.
