The vocal music singing,in common with many other music forms,is a performing art.The discipline of vocal music art,which has been studied by numerous singers,and vocal music researchers and educators in its development for centuries,has been providing people with scientific methods and skills for singing.As the basic element in learning vocal music singing,scientific methods are considered the prerequisite for obtaining good voice , which is vital for excellent music performance.Scientific methods are a must for those who learn vocal music singing and a necessity for singers'success.However,being equipped with beautiful voice through scientific methods is just part of the story.Other factors, such as musical accomplishment,literature knowledge and language interpretation,are indispensable steps towards the crest of the Pyramid of performing arts.That is to say,obtaining perfect voice through scientific methods sets a sound foundation for vocal music performance . Musical accomplishment , literature knowledge and language interpretation reinforce its expressive force.Starting with the discussion about voice and performance of singing,this paper made a preliminary research on Professor Peng Yuandi's vocal music education on the basis of the researcher's learning practice and experiences under her instructions for three years.
