Learning burnout means a group of symptoms such as emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment when students face long-term academic pressure and burden. 497 senior high school students was investigated in this study by Questionnaire for High School Students'Burnout (HSSB), the Chinese version of EMBU and Internality, powerful Others, and Chance Scale(IPO) to explore the relationship among the senior high school students' situation of learning burnout, parenting style and locus of control. the results are as follows:1. There dose exist learning burnout among senior high school students,14.1% of them have high tendency to burnout. Scores in HSSB show significant difference on gender, singleton or non-singleton, art or science, major work class or not, grade and academic achievement on the whole.2.Father's parenting style is significantly different from mother's. Scores in EMBU show significant difference on gender, singleton or non-singleton, major work class or not, and parents'educational lever.3.Senior high school students tend to internal control overall. Scores in IPO show significant difference on gender, major work class or not, and academic achievement.4. Learning burnout of Senior high school students has significantly negative correlation with parents'emotional warmth and consideration, while it has positive correlation with parents' rejection and denial, over-interference and overprotection,partiality,punishment and strictness. parents' emotional warmth and consideration of students with high tendency to burnout is significantly lower than students with low tendency to burnout, parents'rejection and denial, over-interference and overprotection, partiality, punishment and strictness of students with high tendency to burnout is significantly higher than students with low tendency to burnout. Learning burnout can be predicted by emotional warmth and consideration, overprotection, partiality from father, emotional warmth and considerion, over-interference and overprotection, partiality from mother.5. Learning burnout of Senior high school students has significantly negative correlation with internality, while it has positive correlation with powerful others and chance. Internality of students with higher tendency to burnout is significantly lower than students with low tendency to burnout. powerful others and chance of students with high tendency to burnout is significantly higher than students with low tendency to burnout. Learning burnout can be negatively predicted by internality,and can be positively predicted by powerful others and chance. 6. Parents'emotional warmth and consideration of senior high school students has significantly positive correlation with internality,and has significantly negative correlation with powerful others and chance.Mother's rejection and denial has significantly negative correlation with internality. parents' rejection and denial, over-interference and overprotection, partiality, punishment and strictness has significantly positive correlation with powerful others and chance.7. Internality plays the partly mediating role between parents'emotional warmth,consideration and learning burnout. Chance plays the partly mediating role between parents'emotional warmth,consideration, overprotection from father, over-interference,overprotection from mother and learning burnout,and plays the completely mediating role between partiality and learning burnout. powerful others plays the partly mediating role between emotional warmth,consideration, over-interference,overprotection from mother and learning burnout.
