Students Love Exploration, Conflict And Pain Psychology

Love is an ancient and eternal subject, love is sweet, but love is often accompanied with a variety of conflicts, and it will change the relationship. In recent years, studies about the conflict of love both in theory and practice has achieved many results, but in domestic study of conflicts and pain of love is rare, using qualitative research methods to study the conflicts and suffering of college students is rarer.In the study, first, we used a questionnaire to get a preliminary understanding of the relationship of college students and the relevant factors that affected their relationships. On the basis, we design an interview outline, we interviewed the college student who was in love or being in love, we did the research on the collected data using the qualitative research methods, to explore the main types of conflict in love and conflict resolution strategies of college students.In this study used questionnaires to explore the status of romantic relationships,576 questionnaires were distributed to college students who are in romantic relationships from 4 schools, with the results we used the preliminary statistical methods to describe the status of intimacy relationships of college students. Through the preliminary investigation we found that: (1) Choosing the partner in the romantic relationship, college student will consider the degree similarity to the other, such as character, values, background, and so on. (2)The extent of disclosure between the partners in different, who is more involved in the relationship or when can get more voice on something is also unequal. (3)The partners of college students will have conflicts on many factors, and the frequency of conflicts on each factor is different. (4) Students will use a variety of ways to resolve the conflict, but they tend to take a more relaxed way to resolve the conflict.On this basis, we interviewed 50 college students who have or had experienced a romantic relationship, included 25 men and 25 women, then we did the Physical analysis to the text of the collected qualitative data, and taking elements of point gradually, so we got the results of the main types of conflict in the romantic relationship, their main conflict resolution strategy. The result showed that:(1) Conflicts in the romantic students of college students were caused by many reasons, different types of conflicts were existed among different lovers.(2) lovers in college are more inclined to have more conflicts with the area of individual differences, the differences of cognitive and values,and their attitudes towards the relationship, less communicating.(3) The partners of college students have various of conflict resolution strategies.(4) College students are more inclined to use the strategies of coordination, compromise,avoiding conflicts and other positive conflict resolution strategies. (5)The conflict maybe will escalate the conflict, with a painful experience, even will have a negative impact to the development of relationship.
