Ancient Chinese dragon is the serpent, crocodile, fish, lizards, salamanders, pigs, horses, cattle, deer, tigers, bears and other animals, and lightning, clouds and rainbows, tornadoes, stars and other natural celestial phenomena arising from a multiple integration fetish. In many ancient Chinese culture and ancient folklore, the dragon totem of its historical and cultural significance are very complete and rich interpretation. "Book of Changes" Qian, the hexagrams are the dragon as a symbol of the text:"Qianlong, do not use"; "Dragon in the field, Lee see adults"; "see rudderless, Kyrgyzstan" and so, apparently became the Chinese Dragon symbol. As long as the culture of this special status and deep human feelings, use the "dragon" as the carrier of all kinds of folk activities are resulting. According to historical records, the first dragon and practices flourished in the Han Dynasty, "Han·Etiquette Chi", the people pray for rain recorded ritual, people dressed in colorful costumes, Wu Qi Shu Zhang-long blue, yellow, red, black and other colored dragon spectacle. From the large number of ancient books of view, we find that the dragon dance in the dragon culture was born on the basis of a movement by the early folk ritual, rain, and other forms of witchcraft and gradually developed into a traditional activity of national characteristics.Mianxian County, Shaanxi is located in the southwestern part of the western margin of Hanzhong Basin, north of Qinling, Bashan, south of Sichuan Basin. As the influence of culture by Chuanshu dance, local folk dance form quite good, especially the "Dragon Dance" show the most fascinating. Of the 20th century,40 years, to celebrate the opening of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway, the local people picked "five dragons"Dance for three days and three nights, the masses continued after the presentation of new Pu Xiang and innovation, the formation of a unique form of expression and modern style Characteristics.In this paper, Mianxian "five dragons" as the research object, its ontology of the system of dance to explore the Mianxian "five dragons" rich cultural heritage, while targeted to the dragon dance around to analyze, compare, so that more scholars to join the action of intangible cultural heritage protection in order to save precious human culture and the arts. Content of the article is divided into four parts.Part I:Literature is mainly concerned with information, starting from the dragon culture, describes "Dragon" as a totem of the Chinese nation, and its positioning, spiritual, meaning what, in China, the typical farming culture of the foundation, for the extrnalization of the Dragon symbol, making the nation pray for good weather as dragon dance, one of the main manifestations of bumper harvest.PartⅡ:The main parts of a representative of the dragon dance movement analysis, comparison and study its performance style, characteristics and inherent folk culture.PartⅢ:mainly on Mianxian "five dragons" ontology of dance. Analysis of Mianxian "five dragons" life by the geographical environment, historical evolution, content and form of performance art characteristics, list of "five dragons" are comparable to other Dragon Dance to make a comparative study.PartⅣ:As Mianxian "five dragons" has been included in the second batch of intangible cultural heritage in Shaanxi Province protection list, and now is applying for state-level intangible cultural heritage items,the protective value of self-evident. This section is mainly through field research to understand the Mianxian "five dragons" of the development status and protection measures, and on its basis, to elaborate Mianxian "five dragons" Future development of new ideas.
