Thought Of Wang Fu Psychology

The main aim of this study is to explore, sort out, analysis, and interpret the psychological thought of The Analects of Hermit composed by Wang Fu who was a famous political commentator, ideologist lived in East Han dynasty. The outcome of the study maybe provide local cultural resources to current psychology research and promote development of local psychology. In the meanwhile, the study will fill some gaps in the history of Chinese Psychology.The primary contents of this paper is as follows:Part One: A brief account of Wang Fus life. It includes the background of Wang's age, his academic writings and evaluation from the future generation.Part Two: The basic psychological viewpoints of Wang. We discussed the"relationship between the body and mind"and"the relationship between the mind and objective reality".Part Three: Perception and thinking thought. There are three points in this part,"Perception","thinking","The relationship between knowing and doing".Part Four: Emotion and desire thought. It lay more emphasis on"the relationship between human nature, emotion and behavior","the bipolar emotion","generation and the role of emotion","hierarchical theory of needs","controlling emotion and desire".Part Five: Motivation and will thought. There are two key points in this part. First is"the relationship between motivation and behavior". Second is"the cause of motivation and will".Part Six: Intelligence and ability thought. The emphasis of this part is"the postnatal development of intelligence and ability","learning","the selection of talented people".Part Seven: Nature and nurture thought. It includes "hierarchical theory of nature","four morphology of mind and behavior","Conditions and methods of making nurture good".Part Eight: Dream thought. It emphasis on the"the type of dream","The causes of dreams","struggling against the dream interpreting".
