| By means of interviews, questionnaire survey on the Graduate group , this research is going to achieve the following objectives: (1) Revise the aloneness measurement applying to Chinese graduate groups, which provide an effective measurement for the later study; (2) Survey the current situation of the loneliness, self-respect and interpersonal trust of national postgraduate group; (3) Discuss the relationship between loneliness, self-respect and interpersonal trust of postgraduates; (4) Explore the complex relationship between loneliness, self-respect and interpersonal trust of postgraduates by path analysis. By empirical investigation and analysis, it is concluded as the following:1. Test the reliability and the validity of "Loneliness structure questionnaire". The reliability and the validity of the scale match the requirement of psychometrics.2. There exists a general feeling of aloneness in graduate students. Difference test indicates that the loneliness of postgraduates has significant differences in major, grade, region, age, gender, and emotional variables.3. The overall level of postgraduate self-respect (M = 131.219) is slightly higher than its average. Self-respect has significant differences in age variables,and hasn't significant differences in major, grade, region, gender, and emotional variables.4. The aggregate score of postgraduate interpersonal trust (M = 77.817) is higher than the intermediate value (M = 75). Vigilance, the trust in authority and the trust in others'commitment has significant differences in major, grade, age and emotional variables, and hasn't significant differences in gender and region variables.5. Analysis of correlation shows that the postgraduate aloneness has a significant correlation with self-respect and interpersonal trust . There are significant correlation between social isolation, developing loneliness and interpersonal trust; Self-aloneness appreciably related to Vigilance, the trust in authority and the trust in others'behavior; Interpersonal aloneness appreciably related to Vigilance, the trust in authority and self-respect.6. Regression analysis indicated that self-respect; interpersonal trusts are significant predictors of postgraduate aloneness. Vigilance, the trust in authority, the trust in others'behavior and physical ability have significant prediction effect on social isolation; Vigilance, the trust in authority and the trust in others'commitment have significant prediction effect on developing loneliness; The trust in authority and self-respect have significant prediction effect on interpersonal aloneness; Vigilance and the trust in others'behavior have significant prediction effect on self-loneliness.Trust of authority, skepticism play some intermediary role between the social confidence and social loneliness; The believe of behavior play some intermediary role between the learning ability and interpersonal loneliness; The behavior of others trust, trust for authority suspected of the social self-confidence and interpersonal play between loneliness fully mediated; Suspicion play part of the intermediary role between of the self-esteem and loneliness; Suspicion play some intermediary role between loneliness and self-learning ability; The authority of the trust play partly mediating role between self-esteem and the development of loneliness. |
