| The paper focus on the cQlnparison of the most distinctive functions between the common language and the language of art as far as the signs, semantic meanings and the information that the language conveys are concerned. We compare the cognitive function of the common language with the aesthetic function of the language of art. We compare the descriptive function of the common language with the expressive function of the language of art. We compare the rational function of the common languaue with the poetic function of the language of art. We also explore the transformation of the functions when the common language is transformed into the language of art in a dynamic way. We stress on the dynamic study on the differences of the function as well as its relations during the transformation. We draw on the conclusion that the function of the common language is rational, descriptive which then forms the signs of a realistic world, while the function of the artistic language is aesthetic, expressive and poetic which then composes the signs of a virtual world. |
