Four experiments used a fan effect paradigm (J.R.Anderson, 1974) to test the validity of the Assume of Foregrounding-Background Dimension. With the selection of "movable objects concept", experiment 1 tried to find the evidences to deny the explanation by G.A.Radvansky in 1993. Instead of the large place, experiment 3 used the "middle place" to testify the relation between the influences of protagonist and spatial dimension information. By using the verb whose phrase referred to an act, experiment 3 assessed the influence of the spatial dimension information. Through raising the strength of background dimension information, experiment 4 intended to discover the relations between the foregrounding and the background dimension information. The results of 4 experiments showed that the assume of foregrounding-background dimension was the more valid to explain the micro-process of the construction of situation model. And without the disturbing of participants' background knowledge, the effect of spatial dimension information on the construction of situation model was bigger than that of the protagonist dimension information. In addition, the verb whose phrase referred to an act could prompt the influence of spatial dimension information. At last, in some cases, the background dimension information might decrease the effect of the foregrounding dimension information.
