Fairy tales are imported goods to Chinese. From the view of the encyclopaedia that the very important standard to show the flourishing of a country' children literature is how it depends on the other country' children literature. For the start of Chinese children literature, Daocaoren written by Yeshengtao is as great as Lunatic' dairy written by Luxun, and also as Andersen to the world children literature. If children literature of the world is parted to the west and the east, the fairy taks written by Yeshengtao have enriched the east with its typical Chinese characteristic.Mr. Luxun said that daocaoren had given a road of writing Chinese fairy tales. From tbe preface of Daocaoren written by Zhengzhenduo in 1923 to the aesthetics spirit of modem Chinese children literature written by Wangquangen in 1990s, the same view is mat fairy taks written by Yeshengtao are realism. In fact, from the view of the fairy tale itself, the fairy taks written by Yeshengtao are not only realism, bat also symbol. It can help to know Ye' fairy taks completely with comparing them to Andersen's.As Yeshengtao said that his fairy tales had learned from the west Because of this, there are some same things between Andersen and Yeshengtao. The first is that both of them are the art of self-symbol. From the self-symbol art of Yeshengtao, we can find his creativity in fusing west art and Chinese literature tradition; the second is that both of mem are the aesthetics art Whether idling a miserable story or describing a tragic scene, all of their fairy taks are in harmonious tone; the third is that both of mem are sincere art Obviously this is not as same as teachers' viewpoint which means children literature should teach children a moral lesson.There are some difference between Andersen and Yeshengtao. The first is that the conspicuous and faint of folk tradition. Andersen adheres to the rule of folktradition, but Yeshengtao holds the rule of scholar tradition. After Middle Ages, the subject matter and plot of lots of folklore came from myth. Andersen was the first person who transformed the myth into fairy tales till modern times. Because of the deep folk tradition in Denmark literature and the 19 century' romantic motion, the above characteristic of Andersen' fairy tales is that it came from folklore. Although he hadn't transformed folklore into fairy tale directly, Yeshengtao embodied the characteristic of Chinese folklore in his fairy tales.From the view of creation psychology, the creation enthusiasm of Andersen was from the life of himself, but the creation enthusiasm of Yeshengtao had come from the feelings of the masses.It shows that it is very difficult to surpass the national tradition. So the classics of fairy tales must surpass three arrangement. The first is to surpass the world of children and adult, reach ''the third world". The second is to surpass the realism logic, reach the fairy tales' logic. The third is to surpass the realism, guide the future.
