The polemics of "Three Principles of the People" between the National Party and the Communist Party during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression plays an important role in Chinese Modern Political Thinking History. The origin of this polemics are the discrepancy that how to understand "Three Principles of the People" and the divergence that how to formulate principles of the resistance war. These difference are reflected in the contents: which "Three Principles of the People" is true and which is false; what is the relationship between "Three Principles of the People" and Communism; the struggle of two kind of destiny in China. This polemics not only lasts a long period of time but has a complicated course. It reflects distinctive features of that age and makes a notable impact on Chinese future and destiny.The thesis follows tracks of materialist conception of history and principle of practical and realistic style. The elaboration mainly focuses on historical background, the process of history and far-reaching historical significance. Such arrangement is in an attempt to present the full view of this polemics objectively.The thesis includes three parts: the preface, the text and the conclusion.The preface mainly introduces the current research situation of academic circles on the polemics of "Three Principles of the People" and illustrates the academic aim of the paper.Text is divided into three parts: historical background of the polemics; historical process and key content; the impact of polemics on Chinese revolutionary prospects.The conclusion makes a summarization of the whole polemics andbrings to light two important consequence: the birth of New Democracy; the notable changes of forces between the National Party and the Communist Party.
