Von Wright Logic Of Action Research

The paper mainly studies GH.von Wright's action logic The earliest study of action can be traced back to Aristotle. He gave a brief classification of action and philosophers followed put forward various kinds of theories to explain action. Some philosophers studied action from the logic point of view. Among them, GH.von Wright created a unique action theory. Deontic logic system created by GH.von Wright in 1951 took names of actions as its study object. Till 1970's, GH.von Wright improved his logic on action names, and introduced a new concept-action sentence. In 1980's, GH.von Wright showed us a systemic description of action logic.The paper mainly consists of four parts. The first part introduces von Wright's explanation of action. The second part discusses an action explanationmodel created by Von Wright--Practical Inference. The third part illustratesaction iogic calculus created by von Wright. The fourth part mentions the introduce of two important operators-B,S in von Wright's action logic and a detailed study of these two operators.
