Modern Old Yanqingxiaoshui Three Flourishing Exploration,

The modern and contemporary Traditional Love Story has gone through three periods during its process of development. The first period is from the early stage of the Republic to 1920's during which the melancholy novel,taking the form of Yuanyanghudie School, was springing up. The appearance of the melancholy novel was closely related with the trend of thought at that time. Most melancholy novel expresses the notion of love being paramount to all others in dealing with the conflicts, sets the tragic tension consciously and founds the new mode of the triangle love. Its style is peculiar, showing the color of modernity. The second period is in the 1930's during which the New traditional Chapter Novel, represented by Zhang Henshui, was flourishing. The New Traditional Chapter Novel reforms in both form and content, appearing the type of Social Love Story in its real sense that won the favor of most readers. The anti-war period is the third stage of the modern and contemporary Traditional Love Story. In the areas occupied by the enemy,there came the Traditional Love Story, represented by Qin Shoujuan. During that special period, lots of other literary elements for or against war came into being as well. Through the analysis of typical texts during these three stages, the author intends to pry into role of the Traditional Love Story as the historical existence reflecting the' tradition and modernity, and the new artistic elements produced by it in the context at that time.
