| The Chinese Literature of the new epoch has experienced the transfer from "the state of sharing one common name" to "the nameless state". In the process of transferring, the Chinese new epoch literature as a whole has demonstrated the gradual break-through to the grand narrative mode, and turned to the personal narrative mode, which is relatively closer to life in itself. This change manifests the tendency to the individuation of Chinese literature in the new epoch. The Chinese new epoch literature's meaning and value that was projected in the transferring, especially the transition and the different features in the spiritual dimension of writers in the different phases of this epoch have drawn many critics' attention. We can actually see the same transfer and tendency in the poem composition since 1976. The author will try to disclose this tendency of individuation in the new epoch literature on the aspect of the transferring of narrative discourse in the poem, and analyze the potential positive influence of this tendency on the development of modern poetry. It is first analyzed and compared in the thesis the different poetic features and spiritual inclination of narrative discourse in the poem of the different phases since 1976. Furthermore, the interior liaison between the transferring of narrative discourse in the poem since 1976 and the influence of the tremendous transform of the society on the spiritual status of the poets is pointed out. Generally, the narrative discourse in the poem before 90 's corresponds to the common subject of the ages, thus they can be categorized as grand narrative; but with the opening of society and culture, "the state of sharing the common name" slacked off by and by, the literature has been coming into the "nameless state" and the narrative discourse in the poem, accordingly, has been getting closer to life in itself and turning to the individualized style. The transfer from the grand narrative to personal narrative has been giving a positive influence on the multifarious development of the Chinese new epoch literature. In this nameless state, Chinese poets' standpoints will be more personal and independent in composing and their composition method will tend to pluralism. |
