Qing Dynasty Wicker Side Of Town Type Of Research And Development Mode

Now, although the academic circles of our country have obtained a certain achievement on the research of the towns of the Wicker Outside of Qing Dynasty, the research has not reached enough width and depth. Few researchers have studied the Wicker Outside as a whole. And the academic achievement on the type and development mode of the town of the Wicker Outside has been fewer. Thus, people are not able to see the general and individual characteristics of the town of the Wicker Outside,and are still more difficult to tell the clear line and the level of its development in Qing Dynasty.As a special district, the town is a geographical,economic,social and cultural entity and a kind of synthesis of human and natural elements. Taking the town as a research object, we can reveal the economic and social development level in a period as a revelation to the construct of towns nowadays.As the Northeast China of Qing Dynasty is under confinement, the town development is far below that of inside Shanhaiguan Pass, in terms of both quality and quantity. Furthermore,Wicker Border divided the Northeast in two parts, and Qing government had taken more serious measures of confinement to wicker outside, which made it a more restricted zone. So the town of the district is obviously different from that of inside the line in terms of type and development mode.The development level of the town in the early and middle of Qing Dynasty has been low, so towns are few and their scale was small. During this period, the type or development mode of towns were single. Urbanization of this area was far below that of inside the Line.At the end of Qing Dynasty, with the change of government policy and international situation, the town of the Wicker Outside along the border area stepped into a fast-developing period. The town underwent a dramatic change. Its function has been transformed towards diversity. The gap of urbanization between the towns inside and outside of the line is narrower in a short period .The development mode of this sudden change is different from that of the Wicker Inner. The development of towns of the Wicker Outside of Qing Dynasty basically laid a foundation of the function and distribution of the towns in Ji and Hei provinces today. Therefore, line out the development of the area outside the Line in Qing dynasty is significant to the development of towns in nowadays.This paper is divided into five parts:Part One systematically introduces the development of town of the Wicker Outside of Qing Dynasty: the low level of town development in the early and middle of Qing Dynasty and the rapid development of town at the end of Qing Dynasty.Part Two respectively introduces the function type of the town in between early middle stage and end of Qing Dynasty: explains the great differences of the function of the town of the Wicker Outside in different history periods. Part Three introduces the development mode of the town of between early middle and end of Qing Dynasty.Part Four compares towns inside and outside the Line in terms of type and development mode; reveals the restriction of the Wicker Border to the district of the Wicker Outside; explains that it is after the great change of domestic and international situation that the Wicker Border was no longer a restriction and the town outside the Line began to develop quickly.Part Five analyses the reason for the slow development of the town in the early and middle Qing period and the rapid development at the end of the Qing Dynasty. It also explains the comprehensive effect of the natural environment, government policy and international environment on the construction of the town.
