Schiller Aesthetic Ideology Of Modern Criticism

Aesthetic Modernity is a important issue of aesthetics and aesthetic education in up-to-date China. As a important part of German Classical Aesthetics, F. Von Schiller's theory of aesthetic education played an tremendous role in constructing Aesthetic Modernity in Germany. This thesis studied age background and idea source, and construed the system of Schiller's theory. I think F. Von Schiller's proffer behaved in these facets: 1. canonizing sensibility; 2. promoting German Classical Aesthetics developing from epistemology to anthropology; 3. initiating an independent place of aesthetic education; 4.advocating Aesthetic Subsistence; 5. inaugurating the tradition of aesthetic criticism; 6. bringing forward aestheticism with classical ideal. We should analysis the influence of F. Von Schiller's theory of aesthetic education to the development of Aesthetic Modernity.
