| Language is one of significant human communicating tools; however, speechcommunication is one indispensable part in human social activities. In course ofcommunication, we not only need express our ideas exactly and appropriately but also needcomprehend the speech of the other side. The comprehension to speech by both sides ofcommunication is the key and premise to decide on the success of communication. Therefore,the research on speech embodies the significant practical values. Comprehension to speech will be influenced by many factors, and thus the research on itcovers the theories of many subjects. In the first place, the comprehension to speech is apsychological process, which definitely belongs to psychology category. In the second place,speech comprehension is involved with a language; therefore, it can't be isolated from thelinguistic theories. Accordingly, psychological linguistics combines the theories ofpsychology with those of linguistics. It takes the research on the psychological process of thespeech comprehension as its logic starting point and researching perspective, and, at the sametime, it goes through the deep research on speech and its understanding process. In terms ofthe theories of psychological linguistics and Russian as the language background, this thesis isattempting to analyze and probe theoretical foundation, the influential factors, psychologicalprocess and the tactics of speech comprehension, and furthermore, to present the detailedteaching advice. The methods such as contrast analysis, instance analysis and experiment willbe applied in it. Accordingly, this thesis will be divided into five chapters as follows: Chapter One: The psychological linguistics foundation of speech comprehension. Basedon the theories of linguistics and psychology, this chapter attempts to delve into the theoreticalfoundation of psychological linguistics in terms of psychological Information ProcessingTheory and Diagram Theory, and linguistic Presupposition Theory, the theory of IndirectSpeech Act and Relevancy Theory. Chapter Two: The influential factors of speech comprehension. As the speechcomprehension will be influenced by many factors, this chapter is intended to highlight themain factors, that is, language knowledge and speech skills, the world and cultural lore andlanguage context etc.. Chapter Three: The analysis of psychological process of speech comprehension. As themain part, the lexical, syntax and discourse understanding have been analyzed in turn in thelight of the psychological process mode of the speech comprehension. Chapter Four: The tactics of the speech comprehension. The so-called the tactics of thespeech comprehension signifies the methods and means in course of the speechcomprehension. According to the Russian characteristics, this chapter presents the detailedtactics in the speech comprehension, i.e. the verb as the core, word order, deduction,coherence and information structure. Chapter Five: The teaching advice: Theory plays a rather important role in instructingaction. Accordingly, the research on the linguistic issues will be ultimately applied to practice.This chapter recommends the detailed teaching advice in the hope of some definite referencesfor cultivating and improving the students' speech comprehension capacities. In view of the analysis of psychological process of speech comprehension, it isconcluded that speech comprehension is a complicated psychological process, and at the sametime, plays an important role in communication. Hence, whether in foreign language study orin speech communication, we should fully emphasize the main factors influencing the speechcomprehension, should grasp the psychological process of speech comprehension and adoptthe corresponding tactics aiming at the precise understanding to speech and thus, finecommunication.
