| Chinese TV serials of urban love has experienced more than twenty years since its beginning as Qiongyao TV serials in 1980's, its development as TV serials of urban love with distinct ethic in the early 1990's and the comparatively mature in and after the middle of 199 -'s. In the whole development of TV serials of urban love, the representation of love going from concealed to apparent and the voice of marriage and family ethic from high to low, what remains unchanged is the creator's following and cater for the changing of urban audience's aesthetic psychology.This thesis, through tracing the history and development of TV serials of urban love, and conducting a detailed investigation of aesthetic value and aesthetic feature, analyzes the classical representative works of each stage as well as confines the basic connotation of TV serials of urban love.Set in the city life, TV serials of urban love focus on the love interrelations of characters among a given group, and have a contemporary spiritual guidance and love narrative feature.In addition, TV serials of urban love, as a new type of TV serials, exhibit some new artistic images, narrative style, and artistic skills, which provide us with rich resources for conducting all-round aesthetic unscrambling. In the end, this thesis sums up three features of TV serials of urban love, namely, the symbolization of image, the ethicization of narration and the stylization of skill, on the base of which, the author points out the problems facing the creation of the TV serials of urban love and possible countermeasures. |
