Fengzhi is one of the most outstanding poets in modern Chinese poetic world. With his excellent dim passion expressed in his poems, his works of 1920s' won a great deal of praise from poetry critics. Just as what Luxun said, he was "the most outstanding expressive poet in China". The Collection of Sonnets, written in 1940s, was a wonderful work which connected with the trend of thought of the modernism and has a strong philosophic meaning. By dealing with the transformation of poetic character from the twenties to the forties, sketch the dynamic development of his poetic learning and practice, the text evaluated the unique historiography status and value of Fengzhi's poems, offering a beneficial reference for poetic creation. In the poetry creation from 1920s to the 1940s, Fengzhi not only stood fast at his own unique spirit point of view and poetic learning's attitude but , displayed different characteristics of poem again. On one hand, Fengzhi conveyed distinct modern's sex consciousness in the poem, gradually realizing the transition from aesthetic survive to life survive; what's more, Fengzhi maintained that poem should has its own aesthetic characteristics. On the other hand, Fengzhi pursued oneself surmount constantly. Fengzhi's plentiful traditional poetic quality of the life breath inherited from Chinese classical poem, with absorbing westerner copies of spirit and rational doctrine. The most important factor for poetry characteristics is the inheritance and creation toward poetry art. While the rule of poetry itself development was a potential influence on Fengzhi's poetry creation, which promote him to realize the aesthetic innovation of the poem. Whether the song of yesterday, traveling North and others which written in 1920s, or the collection of sonnets of 1940s, left unique value and seal in the history of literature. In the twenties, Fengzhi corrected the fraud of vulgarity and directness that lyrics were expressed one's mind directly and brought to mild and roundabout lyrical ways to cause. It paid attention to the fortune of poetry thought and depot of image, making subjective emotion's change risen and fallen to go up and down sink into deep layer of works .In the 1940s, it was a deny to the trend of over concretion.
