Critics Ethics

In the background of Gadamer' s philosophical herraeneutics, the article probes into how critic to build and confirm the meaning of text, and what ethnic connotation the course of such building and confirming comprises. Gadamer consider that, understanding and interpretation is not to rebuild the original meanings of the author' s. On the contrary, the meaning of the works is produced during understanding and interpretation. From this viewpoint, understanding and interpretation help to build and confirm the meaning of text, the meaning of the text appears depending on reading. Supporting from this theory of Gadamer' s, the article explains the relation of critic and the philosophical hermeneutics, and reasoning how critic to build the meaning of text.Gadamer consider'that, the horizon of interpretation is objective, and the reader' s prejudgment will influence how to interpret the meaning of text, So Gadamer offer many ideas such as conversation. He require to adopt the conversation way to reach understanding together. The article shows that during the course of criticism different kinds of criticism pattern can confirm the meaning of text through the way of conversation. Support from the interpretation to the moral dharma of ethics of Aristotle, the author thinks that critic includes lots of ethics intension to the function of building the meaning of the works. The article, through studying philosophical hermeneutics to Heidegger and Gadamer, explains that the course of understanding and interpretation is the way of confirming oneself and realizing oneself. The persons who understand and interpret the words realizes oneself during the process of understanding and interpretation, every kind of understanding and interpretation is the self- confirmation and self-realizing, so, the author thinks, we should respect all kinds of the meaning of the works. Respect the pluralism of understanding and interpretation, must require the way of conversation to reach the common understanding to the meaning of the works. According to the standpoint of Gadamer and Schleiermacher, this kind of understanding and interpretation itself is the supreme form of the ethnics .From this, the author thinks, criticism confirms the meaning of the works is also a kind of ethnics. Support from such reasoning, the article shows the ethnics intension of criticism.
