Not based on the premise of systemic connection, contrastive linguistics, a study which intends to clarify the mutual difference and correspondence, contrasts the pronunciation, characters, glossaries and syntaxes of two or more languages, we can say that contrastive linguistics, one field of applied linguistics is in favor of foreign language study.The pronunciation of Chinese characters has experienced the use and development in different culture enviroment of China, Korea and Japan etc. for a long time. To confrim the corresponding relation of countries, not only is one of indispensable links to recognize the cultural commonness characteristics of East Asia and the differences among various languages, but also can make use of the reseaching result to solve the difficulties of foreign language teaching. From the view of constrastive linguistics, the paper engages in the constrastive research of the pronunciation between Japanese and Chinese by using the Chinese characters in common use in Japan as the object of study.Firstly, from the point of history, take up the pronunciation of Chinese characters' continuity and differences one another in Chinese and Japanese through clearing Chinese characters introduction into Japanese and the course including characteristics about the pronunciation forming of Chinese characters in Japanese.Secondly, search the corresponding relation among consonant, the initial of a syllable, the foot of a syllable and the final of a syllable between the two languages, and also conclude the corresponding laws according to the research result. When doing the constrastive research between the foot and the final of a syllable, we find that there remains old Chinese entering tone among many Japanese Chinese characters influenced by the entering tone which don't accord with inductive corresponding laws.Lastly, emphasize the importance of teaching Japanese Chinese Character according to the reason analysis that Japanese learners are weak in the ability of reading Japanese Chinese characters. From the applied linguistics, try to know how to apply the corresponding laws properly to the foreign language teaching and solve the difficulties when learning the foreign language.Through the contrast analysis and illustration above, emphasize that among the Japanese teaching, we can't ignore the Japanese Chinese characters in view of Japanese learners who study the system of Chinese characters. Offer a foreign language learning methodology to the Japanese learners who study the systme of Chinese characters.
