General Self-efficacy Of Working Memory Capacity For Memory Monitoring

The research of memory monitory is one of hotspot and difficult questions of memory research fields. Memory monitory is the subjective judgment and appraisal of each kind of type and each link of object memory, which based on each kind of information the object memory provided. Its mainly content includes Easy of Learning Judgment, Judgment of learning and Retrospective Monitory. The psychologist carry on massive theories discussion and experimental research revolved on the memory monitory, and accumulated many valuable materials. But the former research is quite rare discuss the effects of Working memory and General Self—efficacy on memory monitory, moreover the former research mostly only aims at some form the memory monitor to conduct the research.The present research consisted of two experiments. The first experiment adopted 2 × 2 × 3(General Self—efficacy, Working Memory Capacity, material) three factors mixed experimental design to study the effects of General Self—efficacy ,Working Memory Capacity and material on memory monitory;The second experiment adopted 2 × 2 × 3(General fluid intelligence, gender, material) three factors mixed experimental design to study the effects of General fluid intelligence, sex, material on memory monitory.The main findings from the present study were as follows:1. There were insignificant differences on memory Performance of different General Self—efficacy;There were significant differences on easy of learning judgment, Judgment of learning and insignificant differences on retrospective monitory of different General Self—efficacy.2. There were significant differences on memory Performance, easy of learning judgment, Judgment of learning and insignificant differences on retrospective monitory of different Working Memory Capacity.3. The manifest correlation of General fluid intelligence and Working memory should be the covariant relations, and they are analogy isomorphism.4. There were sigmficant differences on memory Performance, easy of learning judgment, Judgment of learning and insignificant differences on retrospective monitory of different General fluid intelligence5. Sex effect was not obvious in memory monitory.6. There were insignificant differences on memory Performance of different materials;there were significant differences on easy of learning judgment, Judgment of learning and insignificant differences on retrospective monitory of different materials.
