There emerge groups of new Chinese morphemes in the existing system nowadays. Most of them are not only components of new Chinese vocabulary but also part of Chinese language. Some of the morphemes are very active: independently used or composing new vocabulary, which draw attention from scholars in this field. However, compared with glorious researches of new vocabulary, studies on new morphemes are rare, which needs more effort to dig out this new land. Base on the previous researches, the author describes and analyzes the one-syllabus new morphemes by comprehensively integrating the knowledge of modern Chinese morphemes and modern Chinese vocabulary. Firstly, a clear definition of one-syllabus morpheme is created; meanwhile the criteria of identifying them are also discussed. Then, 82 one-syllabus new morphemes are searched out from Dictionary of New Chinese Vocabulary. According to their various sources, analyses are made on the borrowed new morphemes and native new morphemes are analyzed in different groups as well the corresponding causes.
