Xiehouyu is a kind of unique language form created in the practice of life by the Han nationality. The Xiehouyu rhetoric methods and semantic effects are closely related to Korean phrases, such as proverbs, idioms, customary language, and so on. But in Korea, there is no corresponding language form. Moreover, comparing with the comparative study of Korean and Chinese idioms, Xiehouyu study has been insufficient and the influence and communication are limited. So it is difficult, for Korean Chinese learners, to understand Xiehouyu as a language unit in the translation process. Therefore, the author thought the translation of Xiehouyu is worth discussing, especially for understanding the Korean-Chinese idiom system deeply. In Chinese Xiehouyu, the analogy partial (explains body) or explained partial (explains righteousness), sometimes may correspond to the Korean proverbs and the customary language, and sometimes to the Korean idioms, which is helpful for Korean Chinese learners to understand. But between Chinese Xiehouyu and the Korean idioms, there are a few corresponding examples, and what is worse, the meaning of translation between them are also fuzzy and difficult to distinguish. Therefore, for Korean Chinese learner, to understand and study Xiehouyu is put on the agenda. In order to understand and use Xiehouyu easily for Korean Chinese learners, based on the classified catalogue of the theorist, this thesis straightens out the Xiehouyu's name, source and grammatical function systematically and puts forward a corresponding translation strategy.
