Lin Tongji Historians Thought

During the anti-Japanese War period, under this background, as a main representative of the Zhanguo Ce Clique Lin Tongji was deeply influenced by the "historical viewpoints of cultural pattern", "nationalism", "Nicai's philosophy", etc. He put forward some viewpoints, such as "the recurrence of the Warring Kingdoms", "the adoration of power", and criticized the Chinese traditional scholar-bureaucrat, then called up the reconstruction of Chinese cultural. However, because of his furious expression, and strongly emphasized "war" and "power", his theory is treated as the fascism among the Chinese academia of history. Under the foundation of the existing data, this thesis investigates his whole life, and tries to research into his thoughts and standpoints of history, further tries to prove that the Lin Tongji's theory is not fascism, but the embodiment of nationalism history and the patriotism. This thesis is divided into four parts:Chapter I: Introduction. Speaks about the meaning of choosing this thesis and the objects of research.Charter II: Speaks about the historical background of the Lin Tongji's thoughts coming into being. This part starts with his experience of studying and growing and the objective historical environment, analyzes the special experience of Lin Tongji's studying, the background of anti-Japanese War, and the influence of the "historical viewpoints of cultural pattern", "nationalism", "Nicai's philosophy" on the shaping of his thoughts.Chapter III: Deeply explores the Lin Tongji's thoughts of history. Analyses some famous viewpoints of Lin Tongji, such as "the recurrence of the Warring Kingdoms", "the thoughts' current of adoration of power", animadverting the traditional culture of Confucianism, appealing the cultural reconstruction etc, Then describes his thoughts and life track after the Liberation.Chapter IV: Rectifies the wrong evaluations for the thoughts of Lin Tongji. Aiming at the main animadversion, has Lin Tongji whooped for the Kuomintang or not? Has he been as a fascist or not? Finally testifies that the Lin Tongji's thoughts of history are the embodiment of nationalism history and the patriotism. After that, tries to give the objective evaluation on thought of limitations.
