The Yongle Palace is may be regarded as the peak of all the murals in Yuan dynasty, and an invaluable treasure to China and even to the world. Its murals distribute in the Longhu Hall (Dragon and Tiger), the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities), the Chungyang Hall (Pure Sun) and Chongyang Hall (Double-sun), with the Chao Yuan triptych in the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities) as the representative. The huge triptych depicts deities and immortals paying the respects to the supreme Taoist deity, Yuanshitianzun. The deities are created after the image of human, apotheosized of human. The Chao Yuan triptych includes women, men, the aged, the young, the strong and the weak, up to about three hundred deities, with different appearances. The kinds of virtual deities conceived carefully by artists molded various worldly images in fact. Just as Marx put it: "religion itself has no actual extent. Its origin doesn't lies in the heaven, but on the earth." "It is the human who created religion, not in reverse." The immortal world in the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities) is transformed from real life and art regarding to its extent or form, archityped the most exalted royal life in the feudal society. It endues the deities with courage, sturdiness, sublimity, magnificence, sedateness, beauty, quietness and so on, and shows us an ideal living world without evils. Therefore, while looking at the murals today, we don't notice much about the deity, but the spirit of humanism. This article discusses the idea: the transformation between the deities and human respectively in five parts.1. Firstly, specify the relations between the foundation of the Yongle Palace and the rising of the new Taoism in Jin and Yuan dynasty, and then introduce the immortal world of the murals in the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities).2. Uncover the fact that the immortal world is just the ideal reflection of the mundane world according to the character of the immortal life in the murals (the hierarchy system in the immortal world, the identity and sources of the deities and the ideal reproduction of the realistic world). The deities is transformed from human, apotheosize of human.3. How the murals in the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities) of the Yongle Palace present the immortal living world in the Chao Yuan triptych through the true-life drawing language, unique creative style and skill.4. The murals in the Sanqing Hall (Three Purities) can be regarded as a magnificent works of many lively and vivid sculptures.5. It is the conclusion. Illustrate the realistic significance of the transformation between the deity and human. The purpose is to fulfill the humanization of the deities better in the art creation to make the art discipline presenting the immortal world function as guidance to our own art practice, and to convey the spiritual circumstance of all the creatures in the real world on the basis of deep understanding of the reality.
