Plight Breakthrough Paradox

Althought the novel concerning intellectuals in the new century is consistant with those of 1990's and turning point of century.actually there are differences between them which should not have been ignored. The intellectuals dipicted in the novels written at the end of last century showed some characterists such as hesitation,complaining, disapointed.ln the new century.the transform of society and economy began to become stable.so did the intellectuals.They had to accept the reality after hesitation and choose a direction afer waver.The features of novels concerning intellectuals in the new century are discripinting not only all kinds of dilemma facing the intellectuals but also discript how they breakout and the paradox in it, which is also the point of my thesis.If it is true that the econoics flush gave them a shock, leaving them helpless, the formation of marcketing ecomics thereafter make them even not know what to do. the difficultis for the intellectusl are arise from not only physics but also spirits.The marketing economics runs on it's own rules, providing nothing to the intellectuals whose interests and abilites are not related to the economic activity. It is not easy for the intellectuls to stick to their faith when it came across market and money.and it is not ocassional for them to degrade. To be part of marketing economics.the intellectuals have to make production meeting the need of people and market. The needs of people vary dramatically.and it is evitable that there would be many bad things. The standards for market and knowledge are not consistent completely, so that the purity of knowledge could be affected to some extent if it is catering for popularity blindly.The knowledge without support of power is frail. To grasp power, the intellectual lost the valuable character they should have and gave up what they believed. The overdependence of knowledge on power an marketing could cause the intellects to lack of public awareness and rational judgment spirit.The breakout show of the intellects could be the dance of desperation,could be the death struggle, and also could be the darkness right before dawn, all of which are not clear yet. However, the paradox in the couse of it is so obvious that it is destined they still have long way to go.
