Republic Of China, Hangzhou, Hong Kong Association Of Banks (1930-1937)

This article discusses elementarily the development and evolvement of Hangzhou Bankers' Association from 1930 to 1937,the Association tried its best to modernize Hangzhou banking and had an effect actually. This article discussing thus part of the Association based on the following : research the organizational establishment and work mechanism of the Association according to its inner governmental structure , disclose the relation of the Association with each aspect in society in terms of the analysis of its outside activities and social functions ,discover the effort of the Association to seek its own solidarity improve business management ,stabilize and put the development of banking and so forth and the actual achievement based on the analysis of its economic function .In the article , I think that the Association referred to the management experience of Shanghai's Banks and foreign businessmen's banks and made some achievement in establishing credit system ,institute united preparation warehouse ,set up banking clearinghouse and so on . Therefore it become an important carrier that the bankers in Hangzhou realized their common goals .
