The self-esteem is refers to a kind self-respect and self-love based on self-assessment, which is the emotional experience asking for respect from others, collecting and the society. The implicit self-esteem is one kind of active attitude behavior referring to, when carrying out valuation on the object that the relevance or oneself has nothing to do with oneself people. The self-esteem problem is subjected to concern over a long period of time in the psychology realm, mainly because is the self-respect is thought to touch personal subjective experience personally of the core of living condition, the square aspect noodles of the self-esteem, life experience and mental state structure exist close contact.The university stage is a physiology, mental state growth and orientation society of key period and positive coping style is the important path which alleviates pressure. Reply way and self-esteem are closely related. A great deal of research enunciation shows the person of high self-esteem has more aggressive emotion, higher of living satisfaction, less worry anxiously, suppress feeling much lower. According to the research results that implicit self-esteem has already achieved this research explores the difference of implicit self-esteem inside the further quest, the relation between implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem, and implicit self-esteem, explicit self-esteem and reply the related research of way outside. Then I can better estimate the coping style influenced by implicit and explicit self-esteem as a personality's variety.This research makes state university undergraduate course grade three student as research object, choosing school of arts and school of science two profession respectively, sample 105 students random. The research methods adopt testing method and experiment method. We give the description analysis, correlate analysis and different inspection to the data by the SPSS11.0 of windows statistics software.The research will mainly draw the following conclusion:(1) Implicit self-esteem effect have catholicity, though individual difference exists. But compared with explicit self-esteem, implicit self-esteem shows stronger aggressive tendency of the self-evaluation.(2) Implicit self-esteem doesn't show obvious the sex and the academics difference. There is on sex difference in explicit self-esteem, but there is academics difference to some extent, and the self-esteem level of school of arts is slightly lower than the school of science.(3) Implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem exist low and even none relation, which supports the dual separation of the self-esteem theory. Two explicit self-esteem questionnaires have obvious correlation, which announces to public the same self-respect structure.(4) Most university students total select positive coping style. Facing arouse affairs, there is no sex difference in coping style. But the school of arts is more inclined to choose the coping style of asking for help than the school of science.(5) The college student who displays a self-esteem inclines to choose positive coping style,such as solving a problem and seeking help , and the college student who displays a self-esteem besides low inclines to choose pessimistic coping style, such as self-accusation , fantasy , keeping out of the way outside height. But the implicit self-esteem is related to answering way between six factors. Though the existence is certain, but it has not reached the obvious level in statistics.
