As Chinese artistic treasure, the values of the Tang Dynasty's poems is not merely been restricted in the literature domain. These poems' values in other domains such as history, sociology and ethnology and so on have been paid full importance now.Therefore, the research combining the Tang Dynasty's poems and other disciplines has become a new tendency. The content of the Tang Dynasty's poems was rich, recorded the people's life condition in each social stratum, and can served as an important window for modern people understanding the life of the Tang Dynasty's people. Of the Tang Dynasty's poems, youth and children who were different age and different sentiment condition entered poets' sight frequently, and formed a bright and vivid microcosm. The thesis aims to spy on different conditions of this microcosm from the Tang Dynasty's poems.The thesis takes the Tang Dynasty's poems as the main information bank, also takes the novel, history book, drawing,sculpture,archaelolgical finds and so on as assistance evidence, unfolds the children and youth's life condition of the age stage from born to being an adult. The thesis analyze the ceremony for birth, the baby's life and sentiment condition, the young girls' life and its subtle psychological exquisite portrayed by the Tang Dynasty's poems, the phemomenon of young boys who admired the people called "Xia" who using military force to help others ,the children and youth's games ,the ceremony for a youth becoming an adult, called Hairpin rite and Crown rite. The thesis launches the elaboration in terms of different ages from combining the poems and ancient Chinese classics, and also analyze cultural and social meaning of these phenomenon discussed in the thesis.
