On Ecological Ethics Of Confucianism In The Han Dynasty

The purpose of this dissertation is to research the ecological ethnics of Han dynasty, analyze the social background about these ideas. It's also to discuss the ideas and moral codes of ecological ethics about the Confucianism of Han dynasty, and sum up the main points of the ideas, analyze the positive and negative factors about it in history , then quote a lot of historical documents to express the real condition about ethnics and the development of ecological ideas as to inspire the movements of environmental protection at present .The development of ethnical ideas is always closely related to the foundations of politics , economy and social cognitions . It's in the agriculture civilization, so people had learned rich experience and knowledge, they also concerned the relationships between human and nature .Which becomes the driving force for ecological ethnics of the Confucians that government had also promulgate decrees to protect the ecological environment in Han dynasty. At first , it showed the theory that human being was an integral part of nature .Secondly, it expressed the understand for regular patterns of natural ecology from"yin yang"and"wu xing".Thirdly, the model of thinking was trying to build ties between natural laws and human's moral order, and the study for morality even including the ecological codes .The standards of ecological ethnics showed three aspects about the Confucianism of Han dynasty, the measure of loving care for nature, the norm system in season and the life-style that encouraged frugality in daily life.It's not an easy thing to appraise the ideas. One side, it is a thing to sum up the main points about it , but on the other we need to analyst its defects and flaws. It's self-evident that its historical limitations as ethnics mainly was in being short of rational knowledge about ecology ideas, the erroneous structure about ecological law and moral law of society, and the incorrect combine between the relationship of human--nature and the relationship of human ethics.
