The epitaph's emending and compiling is very important in the study of it. This article, which is composed of amending and compiling, is mainly carries on to the texts of Northern Wei Dynasty epitaphs unearthed in Luoyang.Although The Selection of Northern Wei Dynasty Epitaphs Unearthed in Luoyang calls selection, it collects almost all the Northern Wei Dynasty epitaphs unearthed in Luoyang. The texts of the book are accurate, and in the end of the book there are some photos of the epitaphs and that make it possible to cite and check the texts of the book. What I want to do in the first part of my paper is to amend the texts of the book by the photos of the epitaphs and other relative photos.The Deoppilation of New Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties Epitaphs is a masterpiece of epitaphs' research in recent years. The texts of this books are relatively accurate, but it also has some careless mistakes. The second part of this article is not only rectifing the mistakes of the texts, but also replenishing the vacant words of the texts by the photos of the epitaphs and other relative materials.In recent years, there are some new materials about Northern Wei Dynasty epitaphs unearthed in Luoyang. The third part of this article is the collection of the epitaphs which other books are not involved by consulting related books and periodicals.In the course of the amending and compiling, the distinction and analysis of the characters is one of the paper's targets; Regarding the vacant words of the texts ,we restore its original appearance with our endeavour through the careful identification and the investigation of related article example.
