The Chinese teleplay develops into the new century. Whether it is looked as a kind of art style or as a kind of culture industry, the Chinese teleplay has turned to a new period. The first aspect is about the art of teleplay writing. This essay will pick up some representative works in the new century. Then I will try my best to analyze and study the portrayal of characters and the creation of the type of teleplays. In this way, I will discuss the development of Chinese teleplay in new century and its current situation, then propose the expectation and suggestions on the art of Chinese teleplay writing. The second side is about the industrialization of the teleplay writing, mainly studying and analyzing some important issues in the view of the local current situation and the international situation. The progress of our country's industrialization of the teleplay is placed in the early stage of development and groping. The industrialization stays in a low degree, among which the industrialization of the teleplay writers is the weakest and is also in great need of normalizing and perfecting. This essay analyses from the domestic teleplay writers' present conditions of existing and rules that related this work and its disadvantages. I will try to put forward the possible suggestions for the industrialization of Chinese teleplay writing, combining the benefits of the Korea and the United States teleplay writing system.
