Hao "hermeneutics" Side Saying Material

Researching on linguistic and characters by using living language materials is the projecting feature of Er Ya Yi Shu written by Hao Yixing. It was always quoting dialect and folk adage to explain ancient words. This approach of using contemporary language to explain ancient words is quite worthy for inheriting. This thesis analyses the corpus of dialect and folk adage, types of solutions to questions and achievements and shortages about the Yi Shu.This thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter 1 introduces Hao Yixing's experience, the features of his work, previous study, researching value and corpus of this thesis. Chapter 2 thoroughly counts the corpus of dialect and folk adage, and categorizes them according to various dialect places. Chapter 3 detailedly discusses types of solutions to questions and achievements and shortages about the Yi Shu.The corpus of Er Ya Yi Shu written by Hao is extremely complex, some signed dialect place, and others not, the former corpus sometimes referred to one dialect place, sometimes referred to several places. We get lots of enlightenment by Hao. greatly using dialect and folk adage to explain words, verify ancient pronunciation and analyze characters. However, there were some problems. These experience and lessons are worthy for us to study and draw further.
