Tang Dynasty Eunuch Test

In ancient China,Tang Dynasty's eunuch scourge was very serious.It lies in that eunuchs got many powers,they dominated the powers for a long time,and they intervened the politics to a very deep extent.It had produced a profound influence on Tang Dynasty history.Eunuch politics had much to do with Tang Xuanzong and An-Shih Rebellion.Tang Xuanzong was the first emperor who attached much importance to eunuchs,so eunuchs began to intervene politics.But eunuchs arised as a big force only after An-Shih Rebellion.With the outbreak of An-Shih Rebellion,the relation between monarchs and bureaucrats which was shocked fiercely tended to deteriorate.To deal with the increasingly nervous situation,monarchs supported their own court slaves to supervise the front generals,avoiding that the generals betrayed Tang Dynasty under the condition of leading so many armies.Generally speaking,in order to strengthen the imperial power, monarchs gave eunuchs great powers,such as leading the Central Army,supervising the local armies and so on.To some degree, eunuchs strengthened the imperial power,but one point that cannot be denied is that eunuch politics made politics much darker.Eunuchs intervened politics by using these powers,which would inevitably produce conflicts between emperors and bureaucrats.In mid-late Tang Dynasty'stage,the relations between the three political forces took on a complicated look.Basically, emperors and eunuchs depended on each other,on the other hand,they also had conflicts,which forced monarchs to get rid of some arbitrary eunuchs.The results varied from emperor to emperor and from situation to situation.Emperors and bureaucrats'attitudes towards eunuchs were influencing eunuchs'power and the extent of their intervening the politics.The relation between bureaucrats and eunuchs was mainly contradictions;there were always fights between them.At the same time they took advantage of each other.At the late Tang Dynasty,as the local forces developed fastly, bureaucrats together with the local forces got rid of eunuch politics ,however,the history had turned to a new time.
