Free Bass Accordion Works Introduction

Free bass accordion, developed from the traditional accordion, is a more expressive musical instrument. Its emergence makes accordions many advantages and changements in the sound range, musical performance and sound effects, more possiblility in some respects such as music glossary expression, music image characterization, etc. In this dissertation, the construction and expression of free bass accordion are summerized from the angle of musical instrument subject, the main compositions to teach and play are classified and integrated. Through the analyzation and summerization of the national and foreign compositions created and adapted currently, the urgency of developing national and romanticism compositions is discussed, based on which the necessity of the teaching materials development and compositions adaption is presented. Moreover, the issues such as how to allocate the timbre, range and midium voice part, are analyzed in accordance with the character of free bass accordion by Bach's pipe organ composition《d minor toccata and fugue》. Finally, the thoughts and opinions to the problems of free bass accordion development appreared at the present stage are expounded, and the future of accordion art is also prospected.
