Snow scene, the inspiration for literary men, also is the favorite for artists.Throughout the ages, snow scene has been added more profound by intoning and drawing. The ancients always intone, watch and draw snow,as a meaning of understanding life and exploration nothingness. They can discover the unspecified way of the mind in descriptions of a beautiful snow scene. At the same time, snow scene sets their spirit free and life beyond.Due to the characteristic appearance and flavor as well as the dominance of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism for thousands of years, the snow scene is given such a simple, clear, static and bleak character.Even sometimes they explain some kind of Zen Buddhism with story of snow. From the description of the landscapes painting techniques by records of painting theory, snow scene is always amain subject of chinese landscape. So all the artists have been learned all the techniques to designing the static scene and dynamic scene from Five Dynasties. But the following painting theory just been enriched and improved in performance, content and mood. From the landscape paiting of snow scene in existence, the pinting can be divided into two categories. One is to using the wash to design the snow, the other is to paiting the land to design the snow.Whatever the performance, the characters of the snow landscape paiting is well presented to the viewer. The creation of the snow landscape paiting shoud promote diversification in this diverse society.I believes that the creation of the snow landscape paiting can not design apart from the writing. We may open up a favourable new situation through creating the paiting by emotional attitudes.
