In this thesis,we mainly try to describe and analyse the semantic development of "hao (好) ", the static and dynamic semantics of "hao" deliberately.Firstly,this dissertation describes the semantic developing trails of "hao" from diachronic surface.From this we obtain that the whole semantic development of "hao" actually is a process that the meanings gradually generalize,subjectivise and grammaticalize.With the enhancement of "hao'"s subjectivisation,the meanings and the functions of "hao" inevitably move towards grammaticalization. And then we also further summarize the semantic developing reasons of "hao" from the shift of cognitive domain, context control and reanalysis.On the static semantic of "hao",we explore the semantic features of polysemant "hao"from "hao'"s internal semantic bridge and the structure of "hao'"s meanings. Then we analyse its meanings or its semantic functions in the compound words by utilizing the viewpoint on morpheme similarity and morpheme variation. And then we observe the semantic freedom of "hao" from the ability of "hao'"s word-building and the changes of "hao'"s morphology and meanings of a word.As far as the dynamic semantic of "hao",we mainly elaborate its meanings as attributes, adverbials, complements and in the communications.We find the semantic features of the verbs that can collocate with "hao". Furthermore,we also summarize the dynamic semantic judging laws of "hao"from syntaxic frame and deep semantic reference.We also find the phenomenon of semantic immerse, arrange the optimum seeking orders of "hao'"s internal meanings and explain it using the prototype-based category theory and the associative extent of semantic features.
