On The Striver Lu Yao

Luyao,who has passed away,is an important writer in today's literature of China.He persists in taking realistic writing method and gives us such writings as《Difficult Days》,《Life》,《World of Simple Life》,etc.Heroes in his writings with difficult experience,distinguished thoughts,encouraged thousands of young people.My anticle consists of two parts.One part is images of heroes.This part tells career and love stories of four images such as Ma Jianqiang,Gao Jialin,Sun Shaoan and Sun Shaoping.The other part tells characteristics of heroes.They are persistent in difficult time.They love rural life and also long for urban life.There are a few reasons for author to tell us heroes' persistent character.One is his own experience.The other is Confucian effect.Third is effect of foreign literature,especially literature of Russia and France.Heroes'love of rural life and longing for urban life express author's contradictory thought.Author is affected not only by rural culture but also urban culture.Heroes' difficult love stories,which are pessimistic,tell us author's failed love experience and his contradictory thought of traditional woman and today's woman.Luyao's success shows that literary writings can make reader courageous,hopeful and warm.
