Experimental Words: Zouping Dingxian Rural Reconstruction Movement Debates

The pragmatism has many affiliations with the movement of country -construction which is represented by Zouping and Dingxian.In the case of Zouping,pragmatism is in the place of instrument,and profoundly coherent with the country-construction team of Dingxian both on theory and practice.Comparing the movenment of country-construction of Zouping with that of Dingxian from the angle of experiment,they have some differences on mode,method and content,but they all claimed that they would develop by their own guide creatively and establish their own way.By multi-reasons,the experimental and political alliance between the movenment of country-construction with learning and society as their standard and Kuomintang government was realized.Among intelligentsia,whether experiment can be used on politics was dicussed.Some people like Yanyangchu thought it can,but Chenxujing was suspicious of it.It was also discussed in intelligentsia that how experiment should ally with politics.Somebody thought experiment should be brought to the government subjection,while somebody was against the alliance,Yanyangchu thought experiment should ally with Kuomintang goverment equally,but Liangshuming claimed that the movenment of country-construction should utilize the Kuomintang goverment and replace it finally.But in the practice of the alliance, the experiment had been contorted by politics.As the aggression of the Japan became more and more rigorous,the contradiction between theory and practice of the movenment of country -construction and the fact of china was sharpen.The timeliness and achievement of experiment indicated that it could not solve the problem of china.The experiment equals to prettification,waste,escape of responsibility and formalism.The leaders of the movement of country-construction such as Yanyangchu and Liangshuming thought that the movenment of country-construction was the only way to solve radical problems of china,but the Country-group and Chenxujing,Wujingchao criticized this view.The leaders of the movenment of country-construction regarded themselves as revolutionists,but the Country-group thought them as applied ameliorators.When the anti-aggression war began,the experiment was over and fused into the united front of anti-aggression,thereafter,the discourse of experiment was disappeared.
