With the development of society,the unprecedented interaction between science,technology and society unfolding,knowledge has become a key factor in the productivity,competitiveness and economic development.However,there is a prevailing tendency that students seek quick success and instant benefits in the learning and capacity development,which is the status quo of China's higher education.With the purpose of passing exams,they focus only on the acceptance,possession, and memory of knowledge,and fail to obtain a comprehensive development,both physically and mentally,in the course of the internalization of knowledge.Through the research on the correlation of college students' self-monitoring,sense of responsibility and learning persistence,this study analyzes the status quo of college students' learning persistence,and provides theoretical proposals for higher education.The results are as follows:1.On the whole,there is no significant difference of learning persistence,self-monitoring and sense of responsibility between sexes.But a significant difference exists in the ego of the sense of responsibility and in the sense of companion responsibility.2.There is no significant difference of learning persistence,self-monitoring and sense of responsibility between different grades,but there exists a significant difference in the awareness of responsibility and fault.3.There is no significant difference of learning persistence,self-monitoring and sense of responsibility between different subjects,in which a significant difference manifests only in awareness of responsibility and fault.4.Learning persistence has a significant correlation with extroversion,general sense of responsibility,individual sense of responsibility and the sense of social responsibility,rather than acting and other-directedness.5.Through regressive analysis,this study finds that the sense of responsibility influences college students' learning persistence.Therefore,we should focus on strengthening college students' sense of responsibility when strengthening their learning persistence.Based on the findings,the following proposals for higher education are put forward:1.In order to establish college students' proper self-awareness and values,the training of their psychological quality should be enhanced,especially during the transition from high school to university. 2.To train high-quality personnel with both ability and integrity,college students should be aware that any person can not grow up without the care from others and the society.And we should develop college staff's right view of personnel quality.In the mean time,the students with strong self-awareness should participate in more social practice activities,such as social service activities related to their majors and "three movements to the countryside".3.Countries to strengthen the university students,resources,environment and the responsibility of the education groups.Government and it should be educational and administrative departments and build a harmonious society and harmonious cultural ties,and building a healthy, full of integrity,high-quality culture,educating people to create a positive atmosphere in order to achieve to enhance the quality of the next national purpose.3.We should enhance college students' education of motherland,resources,environment and group responsibility as well.The govemment and the educational department should tie it to the establishment of a harmonious society and culture,develop a healthy,high-quality culture full of integrity,build a positive educational environment,so as to enhance the quality of future citizens,...
