This paper from a county trying to spread the state of religious study, the find out the reasons for the spread of rural and religious process, know the current rapid development of rural religious growth and development trend of the root causes to find the wide dissemination of science and religion to deal with countermeasures in rural areas to guide the religious and the new socialist rural construction in rural areas to adapt so as to promote the building of new socialist rural areas to carry out successfully.This paper, from the perspective of religion study and sociology, plus the method of social surveys, field research and interviews, takes the spread of Cangshan country religion as the case of religion study, and by the research of the rapid spread of Cangshan religion, analysis the history and current situation of Cangshan religious belief, and its characteristics and causes. Focusing on positive and negative impacts of the religious development on the rural society, this paper explores effective strategies of religion appropriate to rural society and offers rational references for building a harmonious new socialism rural area. This paper includes three main parts as follows:The article is composed of introduction,the main text and the conclusion.The introduction includes four aspect contents:1 the articleresearch significance;2 the paper literature summarya;3 the article reseach teachniques; 4 the article innovation spot.The first part gives an overview of Cangshan country. Its long history and multicultural precipitation provides soil for the dissemination of religion. Next part then introduces the history and the status quo of Cangshan religion. Cangshan has a long history of religious belief, and boomed after the Third Plenary Session. Focusing on the characteristic of rapid spread of the rural religion, it stresses that there are"four many phenomenon"of the current spread of the rural areas in religious believers, and rapid spread and low-level as well, which is also a universal phenomenon in the majority of rural areas at present.Secondly,the paper puts an emphasis on both the positive and negative influence the rural religious force has on the rural society.On the whole,we can conclude that both the positive and negative influences exist. On one hand ,development of religious force is helpful in stability and development of the various classes ,communities and people of different nationalities and thereby a fine social mode.On the other hand, religion also exerts negative effects on the rural society. The development of religion weakens the authority of fundamental institution and further affects the stability of the countryside.The last part of the paper investigates how to enhance the harmonious development of religion and the rural society. We hold that we need to be rational to achieve the purpose and find the fitting point for religion and the rural society. We must first set up an ideological system to advocate love to the country and the religion ,unification and progress. In order to solve those problems, we should cultivate and foster a group of educated and skilled new type farmers; tap the positive factors of religious ideology, and coordinates religion and socialist to improve the management ability of grass-roots organizations in rural areas on religious affairs and the ability to manage social affairs; tamp the solid economic foundation of farmers and effectively improve the income of the farmers to promote the all-around and sustainable development of rural economy society; establish farmer's cultural life and occupy their minds with new socialism culture to meet farmers'increasing needs of spiritual culture and elevate their ideological and moral qualities.
