| In this paper, Henan Dapingdiao is the main object for investigation, its research includes four areas which are the status quo, singing intonation, origin and station in the local folk-customs. The full text can be divided into four sections. The first chapter gathers first-hand information of Henan Dapingdiao primarily by field survey methods and describes its major development in contemporary times, inherited manner as well as analyzes its characteristics of transmission. Chapter II makes a preliminary comparative study of two styles of the Dongluping and Xiluping in Henan Dapingdiao from the perspective of music morphology. The comparative study includes four areas which are the opening of the singing intonation, mode, structure and melody. Chapter III studies the origin of Dapingdiao from two sides which are the literature and the environment of history. The literature study is the foundation of the research between them. To research the Dapingdiao in the environment of history which belongs to have two aims: one is in order to explain the possibilities of its production then to make up for the lack of literature, and the other is to narrate the important significance at the time of its producing.Through the discussion towards relationships between Dapingdiao and folk-customs.chapter IV interprets the real reason of Dapingdiao's heritage and development in contemporary times.The paper uses several ways to investigate the Dapingdiao, they are field survey method, methods of comparative study, methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis etc. |
