| The Kangxi Emperor (1654 -1722) was the third Emperor of the Manchu Qing dynasty, and the second Qing emperor to rule over all of China, from 1661 to 1722. He is known as one of the greatest Chinese emperors in history. During his reign, he Basically completed the multi-ethnic country's great cause of reunification and set up the last flourishing age of the feudal society in the history of China—Kang and Qian times of peace and prosperity. For The Kangxi Emperor's success ,historians have a lot of books. But On his study on the relationship between Buddhism has been discussed less. So for the studies of The Kangxi Emperor, his relationship with Buddhism still has a lot of space to explore.Therefore this article seeks to study from a historical point of view, use The Kangxi Emperor 's Instructions, stoneinscriptions, temple-chi and other historical materials, added the contacts about The Kangxi Emperor of thinking and its relationship with the Buddhist monk, and re-carding the relationship between The Kangxi Emperor and Buddhism.This paper includes the following five sections: the Introduction mainly give a brief introduction of the purpose of my study ; the first chapter start with Recalling the government's religious policy of the Early Qing period , and brief analysis The Kangxi Emperor's religious policy.
