Psychology is closely related to linguistics.The use of language is a kind of mental activity, mental activity of people mostly relys on linguistic signs.The emergence and development of psycholinguistics marks that the relationship between psychology and linguistics is closer.The psychological process that people understand and produce lan-guage is the core of psycholinguistics study.As we all know, language is an important communication tool of mankind, and verbal communication is an important and indis-pensable component of human social activities.In the actually verbal communication process, we should not only express our ideas accurately and appropriately, but also correctly understand the speech of the other side of the communication.Correct under-standing to each other's speech of both sides of the communication is the key and prere-quisite to carry through verbal communication successfully.Therefore, speech under-stanging study, especially the study to conversational listening comprehension is valua-ble in practice.Based on psycholinguistic theory, I analyse and discuss the theoretical basis and psychological process of conversational listening comprehension , on the basis of which specific principles and strategies in teaching are brought forward in this paper.In the first chapter, the reseach actuallities of psycholinguistic to the listening comprehension is summed up.In the second chapter, main psycholinguistic theories are summurized. The third chapter is the core of the paper, the affecting factors to conversational listening comprehension are analysed and discussed through examples, from the linguistic and non-linguistic perspective respectively .In the last chapter, the teaching principles that should be followed and the strategies that should be adopted in the dialogue process are analysed briefly.
