Dongxiang Poetry Study

As the Ganqing unique ethnic minority,all the people of Dongxiang nationality believe in Islamism,particularly deeply affected by Sufi mysticism.It has already formed an ethnical,religious and traditional cultural pattern during its historical development.The literatures grown up in this soil contain rich cultural connotation,of so many literature forms,poems are the most and the highest artistic attainments one.But taking an overview of the research situation of Dongxiang nationality literature,the subject of "Dongxiang nationality poem" did not receive the deserved emphasis.In view of this,this paper mainly aims at salvaging and inheriting the great cultural treasure,it will be divided into 4 stages according to the historical development:the original poem - the inchoate folk poem - the metaphase religious poem - the modern and present written poem,make a comprehensive and in-depth analysis so as to achieve the renaissance of its poem.Firstly,tracing to its source,in the 5th century,the initial poem appeared in the Dongxiang area, A Song of A Gan of Tuyuhun,and then in the 7th century,because of the Tubo's domination,it also brought its historical poem namely Ba Xie to this area.Although the contents and forms of this two works are totally different,but it made up the original soil for the further poems writing,this two works had a great impact on the narrative poems,flowers,folk songs and other poems afterwards.Secondly,since the 13th century,settled in Hezhou region,Dongxiang nationality began write folk poems,the ballads and folk narrative poems were the main types during this period,between them,the folk narrative poems reach more prominent artistic achievements.Therefore,the research emphasis of this part is on the folk narrative poems.This chapter firstly discuss the appearance and the classification of such poems,then analyze the Ideological contents of poems Mi La Xiao Hei,Shi Si Nai Bi,Jiao Jiao Nu,etc,it is find out that those poems include austere philosophic ideas and moral concepts.In addition,using stylized researching method,the rules of the theme form of Mi La Xiao Hei also can be find out,when the narrative poems of Dongxiang nationality also possess unique artistic practices and structural characteristics.The third stage began from the 18th century,is the flourishing time of Dongxiang nationality,it is with strong religious character.There are flowers;banquet music,scripture "Bai Ti" and inscription literatures in this period,among them,scripture "Bai Ti" and inscription literature are with the most prominent feature.The scripture words originated from the hall education,the "Bai Ti" of Dongxiang nationality written by this word has close connection with Su Fi mysticism poems in mid-century,and this chapter uses this relation as reference to explain the artistic features and ideas of "Bai Ti",so as to show its different charm.The other poem style---inscription literature appear as the unique combination of Arabic and Persian,this chapter base on the Persian poems of Bei Zhuang Gong Bei Bei,which is more complete than the others,and research its artistic feature.The last stage was started after the liberation,Dongxiang nationality stepped into a new century, and the written poem was appeared.This period emerged three outstanding poets Wang Yuliang, She.Yousufu,Ma Ruji.Among them,Wang Yuliang gets the most prominent achievements,this chapter will divided his poems into three periods according to the content,and research the ideological content and artistic feature contained in these poems,then separately explore the ideological or artistic characteristics revealed in the other two poets' works.These three poets have drawn rich nutrition and milk from the folk poems,so that all the Dongxiang poetry has shown the flourishing vitality at that time.In general,being rhyme style genre,Dongxiang nationality poems are of great historic,artistic, aesthetic and ideological value,it is generally developed from Han traditional culture on the basis of Islam civilization to a literature form with the feature of inclusive.Because of the cultural globalization,Dongxiang nationality must use effective methods to improve and enhance present training environment and level,and bring up more subsequent bright people of poetry,in order to increase their creation efforts based on maintaining and inheriting their typical national features.At the same time,the purpose of this paper is to attract more attention of national scholars to the poetry of Dongxiang nationality,do contribute each effort to protect and pass down this distinctive cultural pattern-----Dongxiang nationality poem.
