The following thesis which is based on original materials created by deep investigation, focuses mainly on the ditransitive construction of the Susong Dialect. In this thesis, we referred to the relative achievements of studying the current standard language sentences and some dialects of ditransitive construction, and its applications to many kinds of language-research theories and methods; such as the Structural and Cognitive Linguistics theories among others. We also analyzed and discussed the expressive form, the restraining factor, the formative factor, and the developmental tendencies of the ditransitive construction of the Susong Dialect. The paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the preface, mainly introducing the summary of the general situation and dialect's geography, and expounds the origin of the thesis and the purpose of dissertation. Chapter 1, firstly defines the range of the ditransitive construction of the Susong Dialect, which includes, the construction of double object A,the construction of double object B and the construction of objective complements. In the ditransitive construction of the Susong Dialect, we can divide the verbs into eight subclasses, which present crossover and complementary uses. In Chapter 2, we analyzed the three usage restrictions in construction of double object B. In this Chapter, based on the theory of "Construction Grammar", we also researched the syntactical meaning of the construction of double object B, which is exclusively used to express the meaning of "give". Chapter three is focused on the extended research of the construction of double object B. In order to find similarities; we described the distribution of Dialects in different areas. We also discussed the formation causes and the developmental tendencies of the construction of double object B. Conclusions are given in the last part, which summarizes the entire thesis, giving further discussion to the construction of double object B and expounds on the insufficiencies of the present work and the further research plan.
