In socialist camp, Communist Party of the Soviet Union plays the most important role, whose internal roads to development and foreign policy have deep influence to other socialist country's domestic and foreign affairs, including Yugoslavia and China. Since most socialist countries depend on Soviet Union's assistance and support to take revolution and construction, and what's more, two big camps'fight makes most of socialist countries have no choice but to depend on Soviet Union to resist U.S. imperialism's attack. As a result, Soviet Union's change to foreign relation is indicator of the eastern bloc. The conflicts between Soviet Union and Yugoslavia from 1948 to 1953 and struggle later on have important influence to Sino-Yugoslavia relations.According to different stages of development of Soviet-Yugoslavia relation, we can evaluate the conflict between Soviet Union and Yugoslavia's influence to the relation between China and Yugoslavia:1.The period of conflict (1948-1953):Soviet Union and Yugoslavia have occurred conflict. The Communist Party of China and People's Republic of China are urgent to need Soviet Union's help. So China agrees with Soviet Union's requirement and criticizes Yugoslavia.2.The period of improvement (1953-1958):Khrushchev came into power after Stalin's death, and Soviet Union is active in improvement Soviet-Yugoslavia relation in order to stabilize domestic situation and enhance Soviet Union's leadership in socialist camp. Moreover, Soviet Union suggests China and Yugoslavia establish diplomatic relations, China and Yugoslavia have begun to renew diplomatic contact gradually and had the initial intention to establish diplomatic relations since 1953, but Soviet Union's suggestion plays an important role in the promotion of formal establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Yugoslavia in 1955.3.The period of fluctuations (1958-1968):The improvement between Soviet Union and Yugoslavia could not make the latter come back to socialist camp, as the control and anti-control between Soviet-Yugoslavia make the two countries still have a lot of contradictions. During this period, China and Soviet Union also have great divergence. Therefore China insinuated Communist Party of the Soviet Union by criticizing Yugoslavia's revisionism.4.The period of deepening contradictions (1968-1978):The contradiction between Soviet Union and Yugoslavia is difficult to solve, and their relation gets worse further. On the basic of opposing hegemony of Soviet Union, China and Yugoslavia began to seek new ways to improve two countries'relation. Normalization of Sino-Yugoslavia relation was thus achieved. From all above, we can see that during 30 years from 1948 to 1978, Soviet Union and Yugoslavia have accumulated lots of conflict and, to some extent, the change of two countries' relation affected the progress between China and Yugoslavia. According to the research of three countries'relation from 1948 to 1978, we can conclude that a country's foreign policy is the result of lots of elements, and the national interests is the most important one. All foreign policies are made for preserving and developing one's own country's benefit.
