Works Of Bulgakov's Satirical Art

Bulgakov has great talent for novel and drama. He has been recorded in history of Russian literature, which much owes to his big creative works on the short stories, novelettes, novels and dramas. In all of these genres it is more or less expressed the excellent and special talent of Bulgakov as a satirist. In the satires Heart of a Dog and The Fatal Eggs, the talent of the satirist in the fields of thoughts and artistry has gradually come to maturity. Bulgakov has developed the good tradition of Russian literature and artistry which is represented by Gogol and Shchedrin, besides he has created his own special satirical artistry. Based on the Russian literary tradition, this paper starts with plot, series of personage images and narrative of the texts in order to study the unusual satirical artistry of Bulgakov in these two works, in the meantime attempts to give further interpretations of the source texts of the two satires.
